The medical center campus features a comprehensive stroke center, a Certified Chest Pain Center, the full-service St. David's Rehabilitation Center, comprehensive Breast Center, and the largest Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the region. POSITION SUMMARY: The Nursing Manager will be responsible for the clinical and financial outcomes of designated clinical unit/units. Acts as a representative of the Director of Nursing and Administration. Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Nursing Unit Supervisor in ensuring competent, cost effective patient care. Qualifications POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Education Required: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Education Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. EXPERIENCE: Experience Required: Requires a minimum of three years experience as a charge nurse, care coordinator, or supervisor. Preferred: Documented experience demonstrating leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills
