Under general direction, performs full-cycle recruiting activities associated with the development of comprehensive recruiting and employment of new employees at all levels of jobs within the company.
Acts as internal staff consultant for line and staff management on employment matters assisting in evaluating applicant qualifications and selection of most qualified candidates. Participates in and formulates basic recommendations in the development of short and long range manpower and employment objectives. Sources candidates, reviews resumes and interviews and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively. Establishes and maintains contact with a variety of potential applicant resources including search firms, governmental agencies, college placement centers, trade schools, and related organizations. Develops advertising campaigns, determining ad placement and coordinating advertising schedules in appropriate media. May provide technical leadership to lower level employment staff.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.
Functional knowledge of local and national employment market characteristics, successful recruiting programs, diversity recruiting and identification of applicant sources.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve workflow efficiency and increase productivity.
Working knowledge of recruiting social media campaigns and/or recruitment marketing is a plus.
